Who you're hiring

I'm a college student, and I run SP Lawn Care myself. It is not a crew and not a franchise — one person, one mower, and a route kept deliberately short.

That changes how the work gets done. There is no dispatcher, no rotating crew, and nobody to pass responsibility to if a property gets missed. You contact me directly, I answer, and if something needs correcting you are speaking to the person who can correct it.

What I care about is the finish. Anyone can lower the height of the grass and drive away. The clean line where the lawn meets the walkway is what makes a property look properly maintained, and it is the step most often skipped because it takes the longest.

I would rather serve a small number of properties well than take on more than I can handle. Customers I take on receive a fixed service day, and I keep it.
